ALL OUR SEASONS with Sharon Dixon

My Story

Holistic Counsellor

Hey my name is Sharon.

I am so glad you've stumbled across my page.

I am a Mum, Counsellor, End of Life Doula, Civil Celebrant & a star gazer who believes that anything is possible. Sounds busy doesn't it? I'm all about helping people navigate their journey through life & massive life changes that will occur to all of us through this lifetime.

 My role as a single mama keeps me busy with my 4 children.

This role, although tough to have faced it alone, has taught me how to be resilient, driven, motivated and organised. I will always be thankful for those experiences as it has taught me to be badass and how to manifest things in my life through love and gratitude. I love to help others to see and understand their worth, to love themselves and to help them navigate life's tough moments by feeling less alone and to embrace the little shakeups that make you YOU.

My Celebrant Story

My love of all things weddings started out of my love of going to them! I love a good party and how exciting being able to share with a couple a day that they will remember forever.
Being a single mum of 4 I am good at organising and remembering the little details that couples may not remember when you are planning and organising absolutely everything else. I can't wait to help you plan the day you've always dreamt of

Having worked in many fields including nursing and mental health, I am passionate and excited about people embracing happiness when it comes along. Life is short so I’m pretty keen on seeing people celebrate moments with friends and family and making their wedding day or any celebration of life a day they will cherish.

I have experienced my own wedding day and was given very limited input as it was a religious ceremony so I now understand the importance of choosing a celebrant that reflects the style that you want and gives you the creative freedom to be able to design a ceremony as basic or as complicated as YOU want. This will set the tone for the party which will follow shortly after.

I like to think I’m friendly and upbeat, accepting of all couples and I certainly won’t bog you or your guests down with boring blah blah. I’m a mixture of funny, sassy and creative and hope to add some smiles, laughs and maybe even a few tears. You should feel like a celebrity on this day.

Whether you are thinking along the lines of an informal backyard chic garden get together with a few close friends or whether your dream day is a full blown Bridezilla extravaganza, I am happy to help and cater to your needs to make your day everything you dreamed it would be.

I would love to meet with you over coffee or wine to talk about what you are wanting for your wedding, elopement, commitment ceremony or vow renewal.

Let me help you make your day incredible.

Civil Celebrant

Love and Marriage can be a wonderful chapter in someone's life.

If you're looking for a fun celebrant who can deliver some laughs and tears and tell your friends and family about "your story" I'm your girl! I'll put at ease even the most nervous brides and grooms. I would love to share one of the most memorable, emotional & exciting times of your life.

I also offer my services for Funerals. Meeting people at that defining moment of a loved one’s death and assisting them to navigate through their grief and vulnerability, helping them to recollect their loved one’s life journey, and celebrating their loved one’s gifts and accomplishments as well as honouring the important role their loved one played in their own life’s journey is a gift and one that I am honoured to share.

Death is a situation that we often can not completely prepare for, although it is a natural and unavoidable part of life. Many people have not had much experience with people close to them dying, and because of this there is often a lot of fear, questions and uncertainty.

A Funeral Celebrant can provide options and education, and bringing comfort and compassion to assist a person and their family in feeling safe and supported through this important transition and honouring their loved ones life.  Emotional support, active listening, and creation of a peaceful dedication are of utmost importance.

A Time for Everything –   Book of Ecclesiastes

It would be hard not to talk about the Book of Ecclesiastes when talking about seasons. A Time for Everything is, well, timeless. It’s a perfect description of the cycle of life.

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
a time to be born, and a time to die;
a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
a time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
a time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
a time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
